Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 21/11/2025

By accessing this website or using services provided by HappyHospitaliti (“we”, “us”, “our”) you agree to the terms below. These terms exist to ensure clarity, transparency and protection for both parties.

1. Who We Are

HappyHospitaliti is an independent consultancy based in the United Kingdom. We help hospitality businesses ethically improve their presence and processes on Tripadvisor® using publicly available guidance.

We are not owned by, affiliated with, endorsed by, partnered with, recommended by, certified by or approved by Tripadvisor. All Tripadvisor trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

2. Services Provided

Our services may include listing creation or optimisation, review response writing and management, ethical review request setup, competitor monitoring, strategy guidance and support materials.

We do not provide advertising, paid placement, review manipulation, fake reviews, incentivised reviews or any method prohibited by Tripadvisor rules.

3. Ownership and Access

You always retain full ownership and control of your Tripadvisor listing.

You may grant us access using Tripadvisor’s authorised representative or manager access system so we can carry out agreed work. Access can be removed by you at any time. We do not request or require your personal account password.

4. Login and Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
We cannot accept liability for misuse by staff, ex-employees or third parties, unauthorised changes, lost access due to password updates or deleted or altered content caused by other users.

We strongly recommend granting access only through Tripadvisor’s official permissions system.

5. Ethical Standards

HappyHospitaliti operates strictly within Tripadvisor’s publicly available guidelines.

We will never engage in fake reviews, incentivised reviews, coercion, review gating, automated review posting or behaviour intended to mislead travellers or the platform.

If a client requests banned methods the request will be declined. Continued requests may result in termination of service without refund.

6. Platform and Algorithm Changes

Tripadvisor may update features, systems, rules or algorithmic ranking factors at any time.

Because these elements are outside our control, we do not guarantee ranking improvement, review volume, visibility, revenue, listing features or commercial outcome. We accept no liability for ranking changes or account actions taken by Tripadvisor.

7. Guest Experience and Negative Reviews

Our work supports great hospitality rather than replaces it. We cannot fix operational or service issues within your business.

Negative reviews may occur. Tripadvisor will not remove a review simply because it is unfavourable. We may assist with reporting reviews that appear to violate policy, however removal decisions are made solely by Tripadvisor.

We are not liable for reputational impact caused by negative or disputed reviews.

8. Payments and Billing

Payments are taken in advance.

Available billing options:
• Weekly
• Monthly (paid upfront)
• Annual (paid upfront with a 20 percent discount)

All onboarding and prepaid service fees are non-refundable once work has begun.

9. Cancellation and Pausing

You may cancel at any time with immediate effect. Cancellation stops future billing. No refunds apply to any active or past billing period.

If you choose to pause service we cannot guarantee the same pricing, discounts or availability upon restart.

If payment fails services may be paused until resolved.

10. Results and Expectations

Results vary based on category, competition, review activity, staff performance, consistency and customer behaviour.

We aim to give good businesses the best possible chance of improving visibility, however outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of revenue, loss of bookings, reputational damage, platform penalties, negative reviews, ranking drops, suspension or moderation by Tripadvisor or any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability will not exceed the value of fees paid in the previous three months.

12. Termination by HappyHospitaliti

We may terminate services if a client behaves abusively, refuses to follow ethical guidelines, repeatedly requests prohibited methods or fails to pay invoices. Any completed work remains payable.

13. Data and Privacy

Client information is handled securely and used only to deliver the service. You may request data deletion in accordance with GDPR. We do not store payment card details.

14. Third-Party Nature of Platform

Tripadvisor controls all review publishing, filtering, policy enforcement and listing visibility. We do not influence, override or intervene in these systems.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed under the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively within this jurisdiction.
